Mindful in the Midst offers on-site and online training in mindfulness meditation for organizations, groups, and individuals in Boston, MA and Albany, NY. We provide thorough instruction, hands on experience, and in-depth discussion, with flexible schedules to fit your needs. Our goal is to make meditation easy to understand so you can benefit from the practice right away.
Mindfulness is for everyone, and with some guidance, newcomers find that it is a very natural thing to do. Our instructors are skilled at introducing the practice in simple language that does not require previous knowledge or meditation experience.
Mindful in the Midst is comprised of meditation teachers with a wealth of experience developing their own practices and working with others. It is our wish to share the benefits of mindfulness practice with your workplace or home so that you can be more fully present for all that you do.
The practice of mindfulness cuts through distraction and strengthens our ability to focus on our lives—even in the midst of uncertainty.
Mindful leadership creates an environment of trust and respect, encouraging vision, flexibility, and harmony in yourself and your team.

I have complete confidence in Nick as a skillful, insightful, and generous meditation instructor. Beyond his rigorous training in the study and practice of the discipline, he understands how to apply it to a fast-paced workplace to boost creativity, intelligence, and fearlessness in response to a changing environment.”
As a beginner to the study of meditation, I found Nick’s method of mindfulness meditation to be a perfect introduction. His teaching guided the class in their ability to focus, and the practice sessions were wonderful. It became easier to disregard distractions and join in the peaceful atmosphere of the class. I would recommend Mindful in the Midst and Nick Kranz’s classes to anyone interested in stress management and meditation.”
I have been studying meditation for the last three years and Nick has been one of the best teachers that I have met. His teaching style is down to earth, easy to access, yet deeply reflective. Nick combines his deep understanding of meditation with patience and humor to make it fun, educational and helpful for everyone in his class.”
